These terms cover use of this website and how a quote and a job with Scrap Solutions LLC actually work. Using this site or requesting a quote means you accept them.

Quotes and pricing

A quote given by phone, text, email or through this website is an estimate based on what you describe or photograph. The confirmed price is set before any work begins. The minimum charge is $125. Half loads start at $350 and full loads start at $650. Tires, chemicals as a single item, and paint start at $5 each. A price can change if the actual job on site is materially different from what was described, and that change is agreed with you before work continues, not added afterward without your knowledge.

What is and is not taken

Scrap Solutions LLC does not take chemicals as a load or biohazardous waste of any kind, and does not remove material that requires a licensed abatement contractor, such as asbestos. A single leftover container of paint or a tire is taken and priced per item. See the pricing page and each service page for what is included in that specific service.

Scheduling

Same day or next day pickup is common but not guaranteed for every request, especially for larger jobs or during a busy week. A confirmed time is set when you book, not when you first ask for a quote.

Coverage

Scrap Solutions LLC is a Utah limited liability company, state registration number 14513594-0160, operating since November 2024 and holding a business license. Vehicles and trailers are insured through UCCU for liability to property, and every job is performed under a signed customer work agreement that sets out how damage, if it occurs, is handled. Scrap Solutions LLC does not carry a general liability insurance policy.

Donated and recycled items

Where an item is still usable, Scrap Solutions LLC may donate it to Deseret Industries, Tabitha's Way, or the ReStore in Orem rather than dispose of it. Scrap metal may go to Western Metals or MCR, and electronics may go to a recycling partner based in Arizona. You do not receive a separate payment or discount for a donated or recycled item, and once an item is loaded it is not returned.

Payment

Payment is due at the time the job is completed unless invoicing has been agreed in advance, which is available for commercial and property management accounts.

This website is provided as-is, for the purpose of describing Scrap Solutions LLC's services and taking quote requests. Nothing on this website is a binding offer of a specific price until a quote is confirmed with you directly. Content on this site may not be copied for use on another business's website.
