Where it actually goes
Sorted before it is ever landfilled.
Usable furniture and household goods go to Deseret Industries and Tabitha's Way, or the ReStore in Orem. Scrap metal goes to Western Metals or MCR. Electronics go to a recycling partner based in Arizona. Only what genuinely has no other route is disposed of.
