A straight yes or no
If your load is not a fit, you get told on the phone rather than after a wasted morning. That is worth more than a maybe.
Junk Removal · Utah County
Debris from a remodel, a bathroom tear out or a kitchen replacement. Light construction only, quoted job by job, with a straight answer on the phone if it is not a fit.
Scrap Solutions takes some construction debris, not all of it. That is a real distinction and it is better said here than discovered when a truck turns up to a job it cannot do. A trailer is a volume tool. Remodel debris is usually a volume job and works fine. Demolition debris is usually a weight job and often does not.
What works well is the tail end of a residential remodel. Torn out cabinets and countertop. Old vanities and tubs. Carpet, pad, laminate and tile pulled up. Drywall offcuts and trim from a single room. Framing lumber and offcuts from a small build. Packaging and pallets left when the new fixtures went in.
What does not work is bulk concrete, masonry, brick and dirt in quantity, because weight rather than volume is the constraint there. Ask before you assume either way. You will get a yes or a no on the phone rather than a maybe.
Metal from these jobs, which is most of the old plumbing, ducting, appliance carcasses and offcuts, goes to Western Metals or MCR. Cabinets, doors and fixtures still in usable shape go to the ReStore in Orem, which is exactly what that organization exists to take.
Construction debris is quoted job by job because volume and weight both matter. A single room tear out is often a half load at $350 and up. A whole kitchen or bathroom usually reaches the $650 full load price.
Why this job goes to Scrap Solutions
If your load is not a fit, you get told on the phone rather than after a wasted morning. That is worth more than a maybe.
Cabinets, doors, vanities and fixtures in usable condition go to the ReStore in Orem rather than to landfill.
A homeowner doing one bathroom and a small contractor clearing the end of a job are the same call and the same pricing.
Questions
Not in bulk. Concrete, masonry and dirt are weight jobs rather than volume jobs and need a different setup. Call and describe it and you will get a straight answer rather than a truck that cannot do the work.
Yes, that is the core of this work. Cabinets, flooring, trim, drywall offcuts and old fixtures from a room or two are a normal load.
Yes. Repeat contractor work can be invoiced rather than paid on the day, the same as commercial jobs.
That is an abatement job and needs a licensed contractor, not a hauler. Scrap Solutions does not remove it and will not quote it.
A rough description or a photo is usually enough for a real number.
